Camp Skimino is located on 90 wooded acres near Williamsburg, VA. Camp includes a swimming pool, boating pond, two modern bathhouses and large playing field. The dining hall, craft house, Health Lodge and some housing units are air-conditioned.
Skimino programs are written with the personality and needs of 1 - 6 grade girls in mind. Select programs designed to foster leadership in girls grades 7 - 12 are also offered.
Camp is set up like a village especially for girls. This village has a series of neighborhoods, called units. What unit campers sleep in depends on their age and program selected. Girls live in platform tents or cabins with counselors nearby. Campers will be dropped off at 4 p.m. on Sunday and picked up Friday at 5 p.m. for one week programs.
Camp Skimino is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and meets not only the stringent requirements of the ACA, but those of Girl Scouts of the USA, and state and local health codes.
**ALL CAMPERS MUST BRING A COPY OF A PHYSICAL COMPLETED WITHIN 24 MONTHS OF CAMP.
All programs are open to Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts (non-Girl
